Fares J. Radel Funeral Homes and Crematory (Radel) was struggling to generate sales at its three funeral homes for both traditional funerals and cremations. The websites for Radel funeral homes and Cremation Society of Greater Cincinnati were dated and not optimized for SEO. Radel was also paying very high rates for yellow pages advertising, but was not getting the “bang-for-the-buck” they were hoping for. Contemporary websites for Radel and Cremation Society of Greater Cincinnati were created with a solemn, yet celebratory feel to commemorate the passing of a loved one with dignity and grace. New services were added including pet cremation and the sale of flower arrangements. An extensive SEO effort optimized both sites for search engine traffic. All yellow pages advertising was eliminated, freeing up the funds to finance the new digital branding.

Results

The impact from the new sites was dramatic as visitor traffic from search engines increased 130% in six months. Overall sales revenue rose substantially as a result of the additional website traffic.
